Amara Castro
BCBA - Administrative Assistant | Student Analyst Mentoring Supervisor
Hi! My name is Amara Castro, and I have been in the field of ABA for 13 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Special Education (APU) and my Master's in Child and Adolescent Development from The Chicago School of Psychology.
As a BCBA, I am passionate about staying up to date with the latest ABA research. The field is always evolving, and I strive to grow and adapt right along with it—if I could, I'd still be in school!
One of the most important aspects of my work is building trusting relationships with my clients. I truly believe that you can have all the tools to teach new skills, but without trust, you won't get very far. I love watching children take small steps that lead to big progress as they move toward their greatest potential.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my husband of 11 years and our three wonderful children. I also enjoy baking sourdough bread, reading the latest books, listening to podcasts, and crafting with my daughter.
Melissa Thomas
BCBA - RBT Support & Resource Manager | School Partnership Behavior Analyst
Melissa Thomas, M.A., BCBA, has been dedicated to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for over 20 years. With experience spanning homes, schools, clinics, daycares, and community settings, Melissa has supported individuals and families across diverse environments.
Long before earning her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential, she was drawn to the principles of ABA—using effective strategies naturally, even before recognizing them as part of the science she would later devote her career to.
As both a professional and a mom, Melissa brings a unique balance of expertise and compassion to her work. She is committed to providing neurodivergent-affirming, culturally responsive care that honors each individual's strengths, values, and lived experiences.
Her lifelong passion for ABA is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when evidence-based strategies are paired with understanding, patience, and respect for diversity. Today, she continues to empower families, educators, and communities by promoting positive behavior change and fostering independence.
Sofia Scurto
RBT - The Hive Morale Coordinator | Student Analyst | RBT Mentor of Training and Support
Hi! My name is Sofia and I have been working in the field of ABA as an RBT for 8 years! I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BS in Child and Adolescent Development and am currently working on my MA degree in Special Education (ABA) through Arizona State University.
I look forward to this new journey of furthering my education and being one step closer to starting my career as a BCBA! Working in ABA has provided me with the opportunity to not only positively impact the lives of others, but to continue to grow as an individual.
I am passionate about teaching through play and allowing children to be the center of their own learning. I love building rapport with families and creating a unique bond with each of my clients.
I love a good book and am also a big sports girl, so outside of work you can find me cozied up reading or cheering on my favorite teams!
Angelique Giorgianni
RBT
Hi! My name is Angelique, and I have been in the field of ABA for the past 5 years. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama and have loved every moment of supporting individuals in reaching their full potential.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing my clients achieve their milestones and develop new skills that enhance their independence and confidence.
When I'm not working with my clients, you can find me rollerblading along the beach, attending fitness classes, getting creative with crafting projects, or spending quality time with my dog, Koda!
Cathy Le
RBT - Student Analyst
Hello! My name is Cathy, and I have worked in the field of ABA and Special Education for over six years. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Cal State Fullerton and recently graduated with my Master of Arts in Behavior Analysis Practice from the Florida Institute of Technology.
The neurodivergent community is deeply important to me, so I strive to support and foster the unique strengths, communication styles, ways of learning, and individuality of each child that I have the privilege of working with. Nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing my families feel empowered to tackle the challenges within their daily lives through the power of ABA!
Outside of work, you can probably find me nerding out on ABA within my school's esports team, practicing pilates, traveling, trying out new recipes, or sipping on a matcha latte!
Cindy Oliva
RBT | Social Media and Content Creator
I'm Cindy, and I've spent the last four years fully immersed in the rewarding world of ABA. Seeing the meaningful progress of clients and their families is truly the best part of my job. Because I'm so passionate about this field, I'm constantly learning and growing; I'm currently pursuing my AA in Psychology to deepen my clinical knowledge.
As a dedicated clinician, my focus is always on continuous improvement, both for myself and for my clients, whom I support with love and enthusiasm as they work toward their goals.
Outside of work, I channel my creative energy into writing and music. I'm definitely the person you'll see dancing and trying to make everyone smile and laugh!
