Collaborative Care

The Hive goes beyond your child's home program. We believe in collaborating across multi-disciplinary therapists and schools to ensure comprehensive, whole-child support.

Communication & Support Systems

AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)

We support children who use AAC devices by integrating device use into natural activities, reinforcing communication attempts, and coordinating with speech therapists to ensure consistent programming.

PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)

We implement and support PECS systems for children who benefit from visual communication, creating opportunities for functional communication throughout the day.

Sensory Support & Body Regulation

We coordinate with OTs to implement sensory diets, create sensory-friendly environments, and teach self-regulation strategies that help your child feel comfortable and ready to learn.

The Whole Child Approach

We don't work in isolation. By coordinating with your child's entire care team, we ensure that strategies are consistent, goals are aligned, and your child receives comprehensive support across all environments.
